WE made Easter baskets from Márla. Then we put tiny yellow chicks and chocolate eggs into them. We had great fun painting our Rocking Easter chicks and glueing feathers and eyes on them.

We wrote about our snowmen and snowwomen.
We had lots of fun imagining what it would be like if we took a trip in outer space. We have been learning about Neil Armstrong landing on the moon and the stars and planets in our solar system.
We are really happy to be back in school after our Christmas holidays. We have been busy making calendars for 2013 and planning a great and busy year ahead.
In Ms. Crean’s class we discussed what we might like to be when we grow up. We came up with lots of different career choices and drew some lovely pictures of ourselves. Take a look at some of our colourful work.
We had a lot of fun learning about the different animals from the South Pole. Some of our favourites were the penguins. We made these great pictures using our hands to print their bodies.

Ms Murphy read the book ‘The Witches’ to us and we loved it. It was great fun. We then painted our favourite scenes from the story and here they are….
